This is just a friendly FYI for those of you asking for help with specific things wrong on your profiles :-)

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Please check the FAQ thread to see if someone has asked your question before!
• Make sure you have gone into the MySpace Profile Editor and choose “no style” and “save and publish”.
• Make sure you have deleted old layout codes from other sites as well.
• Make sure you don’t have OLD tweak codes! Myspace changed the way they code the default layouts so these old tweaks won’t work right anymore! Click Here for the latest codes and delete your old ones! :)

SECOND: We need a link to your page so we can see what needs to be fixed.

THIRD: We cannot see what the problem is that needs to be fixed if you are set to private.

You have a couple of options here:

1.) You can temporarily change your privacy settings to public so I can view your profile and help you.

OR

2.) If you are uncomfortable messing with your settings you may add me as your friend long enough to resolve the issue. (feel free to delete me after you’ve used me, I can take it :P)

Hi, I’ve been looking for months for this one background, and found it on this site ;-) Now, I’m just getting into using tags, css, etc. and my question is this: #1. When you say clear the old style-(clear all), will that clear all of my text, also? #2. The theme I chose, doesn’t allow my text to show, so I’m sure that I’ve got to tweak (something)?? I’ve spent quite a bit of time on my text, and really don’t want any of it to,,,,”Vanish”, if you know what I mean? Any help would be greatly apprieciated; and by the way, this is an awsome site, I’ll be visiting quite often. Thanks; Randy. ( Musicman_zzzThe_Musical_Chef )

Your first question. When you hit “clear all” in the myspace profile editor it will not clear your text. It will only clear your old layout if you used the myspace profile editor to put a layout on your profile.

Question 2: You can choose a different theme that has a color that will show up better or you can create your own theme with the theme editor and use that to create your layout.
